Alliance for Health organizes training in Digital Activism
The Alliance for Health starts today a three-day training in Digital Activism.
The Digital Activism Course is taught by the Journalist and Social Activist, Carlos Bajo, and aims to familiarize participants with the digital world and the possibilities it offers for advocacy work, awareness and education for development actions and that the participants reflect on how they can apply these tools in their organisations' activities.
The Digital Activism Course is aimed at activists, leaders and technicians from social movements and civil society organizations from different areas, such as the defense of human rights, women's rights, the right to health, the environmental right, working in Mozambique. It is also aimed at university students and people with a specific and demonstrated interest on these issues.
The ongoing training includes the following themes: Introduction to Digital Activism; Exploitation of Communication through Social Networks; Specialized Tools on Activism; Use of Video for Activism; Tools for the production of Graphic Content: Memes, gifts, infographics and other resources; Mapping influencers and allies; Impact analysis; Collaborative work mechanisms; Construction of a Campaign in Digital Environment; Practical Experience of a Coordinated Action; others.
This course has the financial support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and other co-financers.
The Alliance for Health is a network of civil society entities from different areas of intervention that defends the Right to Health for the entire population of Mozambique, through the sharing of knowledge and evidence, training and carrying out actions of advocacy and awareness.
