Testimonials from the Course on SDH and PHC at the Health Training Centre of Pemba
Training on Social Determinants of Health (SDH) and Primary Health Care (PHC) for 30 students from the Health Training Centre of Pemba.
From October 11th to 26th, 2021, medicusmundi organized the training on Social Determinants of Health (SDH) and Primary Health Care (PHC) for 30 students from the General Nursing, General Medicine and Preventive Medicine and Environmental Sanitation courses at the Health Training Centre of Pemba.
Previously, in September, 15 teachers from this training institution in the province of Cabo Delgado had been trained in these subjects, with the collaboration of the external consultant, Juliana García Salinero.
All the students seemed very interested in the content covered by this course and different and interesting spaces were created for debate around the influence of social determinants in the performance of their work as health professionals.
This activity took place with the financial support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and other co-financers.
