2nd Session of the ACTIVA-TE Film Festival on the Obstetric Violence

Saber Nascer, medicusmundi and the Alliance for Health will hold the 28th July 2022, at 6:00 pm, the 2nd Session of the ACTIVA-TE Film Festival on the "Obstetric Violence", at the Mafalala Museum, located at Rua de Goa, neighbourhood of Mafalala, in Maputo.

 

This Film Festival will be screened in 6 sessions, each one aimed at a specific theme, with the main objective of contributing to the education and awareness of citizens and authorities on Activism and the Right to Health.

 

In this session, two films will be projected, namely Carol Lobo's “Duda”, and the 2nd Episode on Obstetric Violence from the “ACTIVA-TE” series, followed by a debate for all age groups, with greater prominence for young people and teenagers. Obstetric violence is all the bad treatment and abuse that pregnant women suffer when seeking health services.
