The II International Conference on Social Health Determinants aims to contribute to the promotion of universal health coverage and the population's right to health, through reflection on social determinants and primary health care, focusing on gender approaches and human rights. Therefore, it will be a space to maximize best practices and lessons learned at national and international levels (Spain, South Africa and Kenya), reinforcing the diffusion and academic dissemination of the knowledge generated in research work, since the I International Conference on SDH held in 2018 with the participation of the Ministry of Health (MISAU), in Maputo.
The event will focus on different themes, with a special emphasis on the problem of malnutrition, without neglecting other determining areas of health. The reflections produced will represent a motivating factor of a socio-sanitary development strategy, which aims to bring structural and sustainable changes to the National Health System in Mozambique.
This activity has the financial support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation (ACCD), the Barcelona City Council and other co-financers.
